Important Instructions for Filling up the Admission Form

Candidates are advised to read carefully the following instructions before they fill in the admission form:-

1. The candidate seeking admission to Postgraduate Courses shall ensure that he/she fulfills the Eligibility conditions as specified.

2. Please read Prospectus / Information Brochure before filling the Application Form.

3. Fill the Application Form online only.

4. The name should be filled in BLOCK LETTERS and should be the same as given in the certificate of the last examination passed.

5. Scan relevant documents, photographs, and signatures and UPLOAD them. Uploading all of these is MANDITORY.

6. The applicant automatically comes to know about the fee details once he clicks the 'submit' button after filling the form online. She/he also comes to know about the 'Serial Number' of her/his application. Please note down this Serial Number as it requires for further correspondence and queries, especially to know about the Application Status.

7. While filling the form, write REGISTRATION NUMBERS of earlier degrees properly, particularly the registration number of graduation.

8. Print two copies of the filled in form (one copy to be registered posted after writing the Subject name on the top of Envelope and one for the personal record of the candidate for further use).

The Candidate can fill in the admission form by using the unique number given on the cover page of the prospectus. The Student can deposit the fee through Online mode, Debit Card, Credit Card or any other Bank's Internet Banking

10. The candidate must attach original certificates of Provisional, Migration, Character Certificate, Gap Affidavit (if applicable) to the hard copy before its submission. The specimen of 'Gap Affidavit' is given at the end of this prospectus (Annexure II)

11. One recent passport size photograph, with name and Serial Number written at the back side, to be affixed to the hard copy of the Form.

12. The candidate must attach all the documents as per the Checklist given below.

12. Admission form incomplete in any respect shall be rejected. Seeking admission on the basis of false identity, misrepresentation by submitting false certificates/ documents or suppression of any material fact is unlawful and will result in cancellation of admission.

13. In view of rampant reports of fake certificates and fake Universities, the University reserves the right of screening applications of applicants who have obtained their qualifying degrees from Universities other than  University of Jammu and evaluating their competence before considering them for admission in a manner as decided by University/Directorate from time to time.

14. In pursuance of the decision taken by the Standing Committee of the Academic Council at its meeting held on 5th September 2005 vide notification No. FACD/V/ 128/05/6368-6517 dated 05/10/2005, any course run by Study Centres/ Franchises of any University in the Country except IGNOU is not recognized.

15. Admission cannot be claimed as a matter of right.

16. All the topics/issues covered in the prospectus/instructions herewith will not be replied.

Important Note :-
i) After Submitting the form, if this message comes Form not submitted Sucessfully It means required information has not been filled properly This problem also comes due to slow internet speed or outdated version of Internet browser. Please fill up the form once again untill you get an Registration number and form is submitted successfully.

II. One copy of the Admission/Examination form is to be submitted in the concerned Section of the DDE by hand.

iv. With late fee of Rs.150/- (another count of 7 Days) 05-09-2017 to 11-09-2017
